Here is a couple who is very much in love and who made us feel like friends from the start. The ceremony took place at Ivanhoe Park in Manly which pretty much looks like a little paradise. After the ceremony we headed to Shelly Beach and North head. The location shoot was challenging as Jessica had injured her ankle a few days back and could not walk on the sand. It was also late and by the time we arrived at North Head it was nearly completely dark. My "natural light" photographer within felt very much out of her comfort zone using flash outdoors!
A little anecdote which is worth mentioning since quite rare: The groom actually took on the bride's last name! When I asked him why he chose to do so, he explained that it was a fresh start for him and that he liked his wife's name better. Something to think about for all the future grooms out there... :)
You will quickly see that purple was the dominant colour of the day. This is not a random theme, apparently purple is an obsession running in the bride's family!
