Married! Glenn & Belinda (and why I love Lebanese weddings)

Usually when I'm told I'm going to shoot a multicultural wedding, two things happen: 1) I'm scared (long hours), 2) I'm excited. Excited because I know it's going to be full of stuff. Of the good kind. Full of rituals, full of people, laughter, family and grandmas who want to feed you until the break of dawn. And I love it, because it makes us feel like we're close friends who are attending a personal wedding except we happen to be shooting it. The long hours are no longer an issue as they disappear into the adrenaline of the day.

Belinda and Glenn are two of the nicest couples we've had the chance to deal with and we love seeing couples who are so right for each other. Wishing them both a lifetime of happiness together x

Centennial Park wedding: Mark + Kellie

This wedding was so much fun. It really felt like the day was about friends and family rather than focusing on just the couple. Kellie kept making sure everyone was happy and I loved how she was saying hello to everyone walking down the aisle. The result was a very relaxed and happy atmosphere and lots of hilarious candid shots. Oh and did I mention they have the most beautiful dog ever?? He wasn't able to come to the reception but the couple made sure there was a framed photo of him displayed at the venue :)
