Photo of the Day: Alice

Some of you might have noticed that I have a new blog design, and I'm very excited to launch it with the photo of an irresistible little French girl called Alice (15 months).
Her mother and I used to go to school together, so it's just totally weird to see her as a mum now :)

I always marvel at the Parisian kids' outfits, it's like they are born with an inner sense of style. Well, I know their parents dress them but still, I'm sure it's in the genes too. You know, the way they tilt their little heads under their knitted hats, with their eyes saying look at me I'm too cute. When my 18 month old daughter and I arrived there last month, I quickly felt embarrassed by her worn grey sneakers ('cause "grey goes with everything"), so I ditched them in favour of dusted pink leather shoes. Hoping no-one noticed.

I know I said photo of the day, but it'll have to be photoS of the day because I just couldn't not post this one as well :)
